We arrived at our friend’s house on Sunday, to find 5 steers and the sheriff’s department on their front lawn. Our friends were attending their granddaughter’s softball game. John ran out to herd the animals back to the barn. I wish I had a picture of all this, however, the state rep had his drone: https://www.facebook.com/HarazGhanbari/videos/294916853283399. It took over 24 hours for the 4th steer to get back in and 3 days for the 5th to find the barn. I now know the difference between the words cattle, cow, heifer, steer, and bull.
Got my haircut exactly the way I showed the hairdresser the picture. Danielle did a great job.
A great visit by all the Grolle siblings. Lots of conversation and shared memories.
Had dinner with the Kellermiers and Cathy Wenig (Gordon started harvesting). Heard all about their fabulous trip to Alaska and Gary so kindly sent me his notes. As always truly enjoyed our visit with Cathy and Gordon and my favorite stay on their farm.
