Arrived in Yuma after a very windy day of driving. We are in another huge park with lots of activities including an onsite bar, multiple pickleball courts, and a 9-hole golf course. Forget pickleball and golf for me as my wrist is still in a cast. So I get to play poker and bingo.
Drove to the Valley of the Names so we could find the stones our friend, Nancy, created for her dearly departed son, Luke. Thank goodness she was smart enough to record the coordinates or we never would have found them.
Checked out the local Eagles. Large, friendly, and active venue. Saturday listened to the band and Monday played LCR. Bingo and poker at the park for other activities.
Took the obligatory drive to Los Algadones, Mexico (actually park in the US and walk across) and got our teeth cleaned for $30, followed by a margarita. It was a quick walk across and no checking with only an hour wait coming back into the U.S., others waited over two hours. Headed to the casino then off to DaBoyz for 1/2 off bottles of wine and Italian dinner.
John played golf with a practice round followed by a scramble at the park.
