Started the year with a remarkable Christmas gift in the mail from John’s daughter. She took all of our pictures on Facebook of the Europe trip and made a beautiful coffee table book. It was a wonderful and unexpected gift.
Wednesday we got another gift from my cousin: a cute bar towel. We met Bill for golf at Arizona National and played in his league that day. I won the women’s division. OMG we barely got done in time and we teed off at 12:15. I forgot how slow some people play in leagues. We finished with dinner and drinks in the clubhouse with Sharon and Bill.
Golfed in the Rolling Hills scramble at the park, and played El Conquistador golf course on Thursday. After we had drinks at The Highlands at Dove Mountain with great views. Took 3rd place in Texas HoldEm on Monday followed by a win in bingo on Tuesday. Did not win the mega millions of 1.35 billion though.
My phone ultimately died and I had to get a new one, thank goodness Google was able to get back all my data.
Finished the week celebrating John’s birthday with friends and family at Caruso’s Italian restaurant. I was supposed to be the DD but I forgot so John had to drive home.
