Kalispell, MT- Libby, MT 7/1/20-7/3/20

7/1/20- We traveled from Kalispell to Libby on HI-2. Very pretty and hilly drive. Still no electricity.

7/2/20- We found a mobile repair guy, he came out and after some analysis he concluded it was the transfer switch, not working properly. We just replaced this unit in October for $900. I hope it is under warranty. Left a message for the company haven’t heard back. Meanwhile, the mobile guy has no way to fix this, so we are trying to get in in Coeur d’Alene, Id at a repair center. Meanwhile, the mobile guy bypassed the switch and hard wired it. I hope this is safe-LOL.

7/3/20 – Still haven’t heard from the repair center to get an appt. So we went on a 147-mile driving and hiking tour of the Purcell Mtns and Kootenai and Yaak Falls, and Libby Dam. Of course, we had to stop at a bar in Yaak (called the Dirty Shame Bar) and then a local pub in Libby, MT.

Lake Koocanusa, MT. The bottom right view is of Canada only about 10 miles away. We were as close as 3 miles to the border as close as we will get.
