Well, let’s start off with some good news. First a great visit with our granddaughter Emma, 2. She is at that fun age when she is talking and engaging.
I am on a FB page for owners of our type of RV. The people on this forum are very helpful, especially since we are clueless. I posted the noise and the LED light question yesterday.
One of the comments said there is a cap on top of the side view mirror and if it is missing this will cause the noise. Lo and behold it was missing. Thanks to some duct tape we have covered the hole and the noise is gone. Now I just need to figure on where to order a new one and what it is called.
The second piece of good news, we unhooked the connections to the jeep and reconnected and now the turn signals work.
So we still have the pending issue of the 3 LED lights remaining on in the jeep. They are only supposed to go on when the RV brakes, so we need to figure that one out quickly so it doesn’t drain the battery on the jeep.
So for this morning’s excitement as we were leaving we walk on the bus and gushes of water are pouring inside from the slide. Apparently, when we put the slide in when we left, we didn’t clean off the snow and ice and when we got to warmer temperatures it all melted. So the first bit of laundry will be to wash four huge beach towels.
We have arrived at Camp Creek, WV. Beautiful campground and one other camper, of course, it is February, so who the heck camps this time of year.
It rained the entire drive and of course while we were setting everything up. The LED lights are still on the Jeep so we need to find a BlueOx dealer to look at it.
Just enjoying a glass of wine or two and de-winterizing as we are finally above freezing. Boy, our dryer either doesn’t work or it really takes hours to dry towels.
